With a lovely design, this impeccable monochromatic apartment located in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is a comfortable living space, ideal for a person in search of a peaceful and compact home. The interior is characterised by simplicity and a certain minimalistic design. Exuding style, the apartment was neatly decorated by Goldfish-Interiors in collaboration with Alexandra Rybarová. The kitchen and the living room are one, in order to save space and create a larger and a more fluid living environment. Despite this abundance of white, the interior does not feel sterile, but luminous and bright.
As you walk throughout the apartment, you experience freedom. A nice and warm feeling embraces your soul. The glossy floor is very elegant and it works well with both, the kitchen and the sitting area. For an additional sense of coziness, a fluffy carpet has been strategically placed in the living room. Modern furniture completes the décor.
As additional info, Bratislava is quite a romantic and inspiring city, occupying both banks of the Danube River and the left bank of the Morava River. The old side of the town is charming and filled with sophisticated restaurants, traditional pubs and excellent music.
If you believe that green does not work in a trendy and minimal contemporary bedroom, then think again! A green accent wall is easy to shape and it brings that much needed warmth to an otherwise cool and mundane interior. Just repeat the color in the room using vivacious bedding, accessories, nightstands or even a couple of lovely vases and you have an inviting bedroom that is both energetic and relaxing. Those who feel that an accent wall in green or décor are not your thing can still add the color by placing a couple of potted plants to fill up those empty corners. It is an easy, eco-friendly and healthy choice to turn to that will instantly alter the mood in the bedroom.
Green in the girls’ bedroom coupled with pink works surprisingly well and it elegantly complements other colors such as brown and orange as well. Working with more than 3 or 4 bright colors in a room requires great care, perfect planning and a hint of ingenuity that lets each hue standout even while blending with the overall look. While it does sound like a risky proposition, get it right and you will have a playful kids’ room that is a visual treat.
