I had a decision to make this morning. Do I go down to the Republican convention and campaign or do I perform my job as a sitting city councilman and help ensure that jobs are brought into Cumberland. We have an airplane manufacture currently in Detroit that is looking at moving into Cumberland. We met with them all day yesterday and the meetings are to go on today. I decided as a person of principle that it would be better for the people of Cumberland that I stay here rather than go down and campaign. Despite any other candidate I AM an elected official and I have to do what is right for the people I represent at all costs. It is what I CAN do today, rather than what I MIGHT be able to do tomorrow.

Yesterday, while hosting Mexican President Calderon, Obama condemned the new Arizona immigration law saying it was “a misdirected expression of frustration,” and that he was looking for a federal fix that “the nation could embrace.”
Obama and his elitist cohorts are using the Arizona law to paint their political opponents as racists and xenophobes to accomplish two goals:
–to eliminate our border and introduce widespread
amnesty
–to rally and prime their base for victories
in November.
I agree with Roy Johnson here and his writings above. But I want to go on to say that I find the Mexican President Calderon insulting and President’s Obama’s statement one that shows total contempt towards the American people. The federal fix that I am looking for, one that “the nation could embrace” is to charge Obama and the people who stood up and cheered on the Mexican President with treason.
This has been going on for so long, we have to stop it and we have to stop it now. All these people and their parties want is power and they will do everything they can to get it and keep it. Nothing about the good of the people and the country.

Petition Circulator Training
Help Our Candidates Get on the Ballot!
Let’s help our U.S. Senate candidate, Rob Taylor, obtain the 2000 signatures he needs on nomination petitions in order to be on the Wisconsin State Ballot for this November. Any of our endorsed candidates would greatly appreciate your help for their nomination petitions as well. Rob is scheduled to speak to us at these two training sessions.
It’s easy to get signatures, but the goal can seem intimidating at first. Mark Gabriel will be teaching the course. He has worked as both a paid and volunteer petitioner in at least seven states. All materials will be provided (except for pens and paper to take notes – please bring black ink pens!).
